Great Big Breakfast is an opportunity for partners of Magic Breakfast to get together with colleagues, clients and even other nearby companies for fun, food, friendship and fundraising. By taking part, you’ll be raising vital funds so that we can continue putting breakfast on the table for over 300,000 children and young people each morning!
It has long been said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and for young people at school this couldn’t be more true. Breakfast boosts concentration and attainment, with a whopping 92% of Magic Breakfast partner schools finding that breakfast at school improves pupils’ readiness to learn.
By getting involved, hosting a Great Big Breakfast and fundraising for Magic Breakfast, you can help tackle hunger, support children’s wellbeing and set them up for the day of learning ahead.
How to get involved:
Getting started is simple…
Just choose a date in March 2025, spread the word and gather people at your workplace together for breakfast!
Collect donations
On the day, you’ll want to inspire and collect donations. You could consider:
- Setting up an online fundraising page and asking guests to donate
- Hosting a raffle or tombola
- Running a competitive challenge. We recommend a Breakfast Bake Off or breakfast olympics (think egg and spoon race and pancake flipping contests!)

Make your breakfast matter
By contributing to Great Big Breakfast you will be enabling our work with hundreds of schools across England and Scotland, each and every school day, to offer breakfast to thousands of children who otherwise might not have anything to eat all morning. Every Magic Breakfast costs just 28p.
